from the warm summer wind
I tasted spring
Petals drift in softest chime
A wistfulness they to be seen
Alas the messenger
Of ivy’s climb
A tune through trees
What it sang through and through
And how oft my name
In breeze I heard
Deep In midnights blue
Wind it carries
From distance albeit unknown
For why to love the summer wind
It cools the neck in whispers
And kisses from far are shown
